MURGATROYD, RN, BARBARA JESSIE Passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto at the age of 88 years.
Barbara was an RN, class of 1952 at Toronto Western Hospital. Beloved wife to Norman for 65 years. Loving mother to Kathryn McGarry (Fred), Sue Regier (Rob) and Jane Murgatroyd (Reginald). Sister to Margaret Hunter (the late Arnold) and the late Robert Hanks (the late Jean).
Cherished grandmother to Rory, Geordie, Jenny, Alex, Liam, Declan, Stefan, Dylan and Ryan. Dear great grandmother to Magda and Eva. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel at 4933 Dundas St. W. (between Kipling and Islington Aves.), Etobicoke, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Islington, 3819 Bloor St. W. (west of Kipling), on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in church.
