SMEDLEY, Beverley Joan (nee Ellis) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing at Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, Ontario of Beverley Joan Smedley on October 12, 2018 with her best friend and loving husband, Fred Smedley by her side.
Proud and loving mother to Lori and Todd, cherished grandma to Emma, Liam, Rachel and Ryan, big sister to the Ellis boys Mike, Doug, Craig, Gary and loving aunt to Nora and Kent. Bev was an inspiration to many, and she will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Bev was a potter and a member of the Hamilton Potters Guild. She was known for her passion for the arts and travel. Bev spent 31 years working at Mohawk College and inspired many people to pursue non traditional careers and she helped hundreds of young women and men find their path. She was loved by many.

A Celebration of Life will take place on November 24, 2018 at 2 pm – 5 pm at the HMCS Star, 650 Catharine St. N., Hamilton.
