BROUWER, Andries Dad went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Friday, October 19, 2018 in his 93rd year.
Beloved husband of Dieuwke (Dorothy) for 66 years. He was the third son of nine children. Surviving siblings; Piet Brouwer, Alida Nutma and Froujke Hoekstra. Beloved father of Sam and Jenny Brouwer, Peter Brouwer (predeceased 1985) Cora and Dirk DeJong, Gary and Linda Brouwer, Bert Brouwer, Frances and Frank Vanderwillik, Alma and Frank Post, Janette and Chris Knowles. Beloved grandfather of 22 grandchildren including Andrew Post (predeceased 2016) and 39 great-grandchildren.
Andries was a blessing to his family and many Christian ministries, including the establishment of the Mt Hamilton CRC church and Calvin Christian School. Andries had a huge heart to help those in need.
First visitation Tuesday, October 23rd from 7-9 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home, 567 Upper Wellington St. in Hamilton. Second visitation and funeral will be held at the Kingdom Worship Centre (old Mount Hamilton CRC church) 1411 Upper Wellington St, Hamilton. Wednesday, October 24th, 10-11:45 a.m. Funeral Service 12:00 -1:00 p.m. Internment to follow at Mt. Hamilton Cemetery and light reception back at the church.
