BURNING, “Pete” Randolph Peter Hegaowehewi – Onondaga Deer Clan February 25, 1940 – March 25, 2019 Reunited with his granddaughter Lindsey Kristine. Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family at the age of 79 years.
Beloved husband of Fern for 54 years. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his children, special daughter Janice, Kath (Gus), Peter (Mel), and Karen; grandchildren Dave, Matt, (Char), Marty (Laura), Kenisha (Daulton), Kenny boy, Kels, Dale, and Ash; great-grandson Lincoln, and NoNos, and coming baby Isaacs; brothers Donnie, and Ronnie (Brenda); sisters-in-law Myrn and Louise; and fur babies Rosie and Boba. Predeceased by parents Helen and Peter Burning; siblings Ruthie, Romaine, Myrna, Luvina, Shirley, Carolyn, Joycie, Frank, Janet, and Jenny. Pete was a member of Hamilton Painter’s Union Local 205 for 53 years.
Resting at his home 3168 4th Line, Six Nations after 6 pm. Monday. Funeral Service and Burial will be held at Onondaga Longhouse on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 11 a.m.
