PHILLIPS, CHARLES GREGORY Passed away January 9, 2019 with his wife Kathi by his side, at age 66.
As well as being an incredible husband, Greg was an incomparable father to his children who survive him: Matthew (Megan), Jessica (Greg) and Peter. He was predeceased by his parents Colin and Velda, and daughter Amelia. Greg will be missed greatly by his sisters Colleen (Terry) and Sharon (David); his four grandchildren, Devon, Leigh, Malcolm, and Colin; his in-laws Peter and Beverly Moote, their family, and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Kentville, NS, Greg was an athlete, an outdoorsman, a scientist, a musician, and a woodworker in equal parts. The passion he brought to all areas of his life permeated his relationships. He leaves behind beloved memories, gratitude, and a shining example of the kind of person we should all strive to be.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19th, at Stouffville United Church, 34 Church Street, Stouffville, with visitation an hour beforehand.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Yellow Brick House of Newmarket. Arrangements entrusted to the Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home.
