HENNINGSEN, Clifton Hughes Clifton at the age of 94 years passed away peacefully at the Westbury in Etobicoke, Ontario on August 27, 2018. As an amazing Dad, Gramps and friend he is survived by his daughter Nancy and her husband Larry Barham of Raleigh, NC and granddaughters Paige Alexandria Barham and Hannah-Leigh Henningsen Barham also of Raleigh, NC.
Preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Fran and his beloved son, Douglas Clifton. Also, his 2 sisters Dorothy Raymond and Bernice Newbury both of Montreal. His many years of giving back by volunteering at the Westbury in many capacities was an example of his dedication and love for people. Cliff proudly served his country in the Air Force and retired after 46 years from a career with the Canadian National Railway. His appreciation for music was expressed by a long career with singing groups spreading joy to all who listened. Cliff was always known as a gentleman and friend to all.
He will be dearly missed. Friends may call at Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10 north of the QEW) on Friday, August 30, 2018 at 11 a.m. for visitation followed by a Funeral Service at 12 p.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Department of Veterans Affairs Canada.
