DEMERS, Rose Ann (nee Lewis) January 15, 1945 – March 2, 2019 On Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Hamilton, Ontario, Rose Ann (nee Lewis) Demers, beloved daughter of the late Horace B. Lewis (1982). Dearest mother of Anthony “Tony” Johnson (Joanne Wolsley), Darryl Johnson and Shelley Bayer. Sister of Ronald Lewis and Brian Lewis (Western Canada) and grandmother of Amber Johnson. Widow of the late Robert J. Demers (2002) Member of the Afro-Canadian Caribbean Association of Hamilton (A.C.C.A.), Barbados Canadian & Friends Hamilton Association, Esther Chapter No. 2, O.E.S., Order of the Golden Circle – Beaver Assembly No. 88, a founding member and acting co-ordinator of the Sing-A-Long Community Choir and member of Stewart Memorial Church.
Rose is at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home ROBINSON CHAPEL, (King Street East at Wellington) Hamilton 905-522-2496 where the family will receive friends on Friday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service from the Chapel on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11 am. Private Cremation with Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
