BROMLEY, Doreen “Betty” (nee ABBOTT) Doreen passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Mackenzie Health Long Term Care Facility at the age of 87 after a long illness.
Doreen was the loving wife of Ron for 65 years, a loving mom to Martin (Marjorie), Sandy, Wendy (Mark Evans) and Lee-Ann (Joe Marchese). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Martin (Jen), Elanna (Paul), Brittney (Adam), Courtney (Mike), Alycia (Lee), Colin, Shayla (Andrew), Joshua (Brittany) and Jesse and her great-grandchildren Ryder, Riley and Brooklyn.
We wish to thank the L.T.C. staff, nurses and the excellent PSW’s on the 4th floor for their kindness and compassion in looking after Doreen.
Family and friends will be received at ELGIN MILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1591 Elgin Mills Rd. E., Richmond Hill (east of Leslie St., 905-737-1720) on Sunday, October 28th at 10 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m.
