WORDEN, ELIZABETH JANE On Thursday, November 26, 2020 Elizabeth Jane Worden passed away at the age of 72 years. Jane was born October 20, 1948 in Toronto, ON to Art and Rita Worden. She was a retired RN who graduated Peterborough Civic Hospital with class of 1970 and served her community for many years. Jane had a passion for animals. Her pets: Chico, Punkin, Josh and Lola, who have all been lovingly rehomed.
A donation has been made on her behalf to her favourite shelter, the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada. Known for being quite the conversationalist, many of her family and friends will miss her lovely phone calls and compassion for others. Jane was preceded in death by her father Arthur (Art) and mother Rita, partner Charles (Chuck) Cloutier. She is survived by her brother Glenn Worden, her best friend Sue Stone, as well as her 2 nephews, 4 great-nieces and great-nephew.
A note was found that Jane wrote in 2004 for loved ones to hear when she had passed. “I Loved you all dearly and will miss you much! Till we meet again”. At Jane’s request, there will not be a formal service. In lieu of flowers, she would have loved donations to www.thedonkeysanctuary.ca
