CHAMBERS, Elizabeth M. November 3, 1922 – June 3, 2018 We are saddened to announce the passing of Betty, of Barrie, Ontario, after a very short illness.
She left us very peacefully, with family at her side. Betty was predeceased by husbands Don Chambers and Aub Lewis-Watts and by brothers Gib, John and Bud Malcolm. Betty will be sadly missed by surviving brother Grant, and sister Judy, brothers-in-law Paul and Noel Lewis-Watts, sons Bob, Pete and Don and their families and by Pam Ablett, Scott, Mark and Anne Chambers and their families. She was supported and loved by former daughter-in-law, Sheila Lewis-Watts, and, in recent years, by close friend, Alan Clark.
Betty’s Christian faith was a very important and special part of her life and she was a charter and very active member of Trinity Presbyterian Church York Mills for more than 60 years.
A Service of Remembrance will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at Trinity Presbyterian Church York Mills, 2737 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, at 11 o’clock with visitation from 10 o’clock.
Interment Barrie Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Christian Blind Mission International, Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation, Barrie or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
