With great sadness and heavy heart, the family of Ettore Filippo announces his sudden passing at the age of 71, on September 25, 2018.
He was born in Montalto Uffugo, Cosenza, Calabria, Italy on March 9, 1947 to Francesco and Ida Filippo. He married his love, Ada on August 23, 1970. Adored father of Francesco, Damiano (Renee) and Ida. Proud Nonno to Victoria, Olivia, Andrea, Lesya and Emily. Loving brother to Maria (Michele), Carmela (Pasquale), Enza (Carmine), Lina (Guido), Franca (Franco), Silvana (Dario) and Gianfranco (Maria). May he be reunited in heaven with his siblings Nellina and Carmine. Ettore will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Guests will be received at Delmoro Funeral Home, 61 Beverly Hills Dr., (1 light south of Wilson Ave., west of Jane St. 416-249-4499) on Thursday September 27, 2018 from 2-4 pm & 6-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church (2100 Jane St.) on Friday September 28 at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St.)
