HANNAH, Wilda Louise (nee West) Born March 20, 1923 to Mary Ann and Edward West at Cape Chin, Bruce Peninsula and passed away in her 96th year peacefully at Macassa Lodge in Hamilton October 24, 2018.
Predeceased by husband Charles Montford Ellis Hannah whom she married February 14, 1945. Mother of Joan Cooper (predeceased Les Cooper), Edward Hannah (Elaine Uchida) and June Hannah-Cook (Steve Cook). Nanny to many, greatly adored grandchildren Laura, Elizabeth (Kim), Amara, Kara, Alexis, Isaac and great-granddaughter Amiyah. Survived by sisters Maybelle Rudd and Sharon Wright, brother Larry West (Donna) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank the staff at Macassa Lodge especially C2-East for their genuine compassion and wonderful care of both our parents. Truly angels on earth.
Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave East, Hamilton on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
