KOOPMANS, ISABEL (nee WRIGHT) Passed away quietly on December 21, 2020, at Cardinal Ambrozic Houses of Providence, Toronto. Beloved wife of 32 years of John Koopmans, dear mother of Louise (Steve), Gord and Don (Elizabeth). Dear step-mother to Chris (Sonia) and Cathie (Steve).
Dear grandmother to Jenna, Chloe, Samuel, and Evan. Dear sister to Jean, George (Yvonne), Mabel (Bob), Ann (Ron), Patricia (Vernon), Michael (Sally) and David (Kim). Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband, John Shelton, brother-in-law, Tommy and granddaughter, Emily. Isabel was a University of Toronto graduate and a community Pharmacist in King City for many years. She was an active and compassionate lifelong volunteer.
She and her husband, John Koopmans, were enthusiastic Scottish country dancers. Isabel’s quiet, gentle spirit will be deeply missed by family and friends. The family wish to thank the staff at Houses of Providence for their years of care, kindness and support. Due to current restrictions, a private funeral service is planned.
