BITE, Ivars December 4, 1929 – January 20, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ivars Bite at the age of 88. His beloved wife of 63 years, Maija (Terauds), was at his side. Ivars was born in Piebalga, Latvia the son of Martha and Roberts Bite. Proud father of Andris (Karen), Inese (Erik) and Nora. Loving grandfather of Tristan, Jasmine, Alexandra, Philip, Sigfrid, Samantha and Zoe. Brother of Irene (Oswald) and Andrejs (Margaret). Brother in-law of Gundega, Rasma and Atis and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place.
Funeral service will be held at the Dodsworth and Brown Funeral Home, Robinson Chapel, 15 West Ave. N., Hamilton on Monday, January 29th at 11:00 a.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hamilton or the Heart & Stroke Foundation (Hamilton).
