MAXTED, JOHN MERVIN Born June 6, 1926 – Died October 1, 2018 Passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord on October 1, 2018 at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Predeceased by Margaret, his loving wife of 60 years (2008). Beloved father of John (Louise), Mark (Sharon), Randolph, Steve and Paul. Dear Grandpa of Johnny (Amy), Heidi (Steve), Justin (Vicky), Katrina, Brittany, Anthony (Samantha) and Brianna. Loving Papa of Will, Erin, Matthew, Amanda, Emma and Alexandra. Survived by many nieces and nephews in the Hamilton area.
Visitation is at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham, Ontario, Thursday, October 4th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be held Friday, October 5th, at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. also at Chapel Ridge.
