KIYONAGA, Kikuye Kay (nee AKADA) August 26, 1922 to October 12, 2018 In her 97th year on October 12, 2018 Kikuye (Kay) Kiyonaga passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Cherished wife of the late Shori Kiyonaga. Devoted mother of Marcy Salvatore (Bernie), Elaine Taylor (John) and Kelly Kiyonaga (Donna). Doting Baba to Elaine, Jason, Alison and Michael. Dear sister to Yoshiye (Margie) Suyama and Masae (Norma) Cheng and sister-in-law to Akiye (Kay) Akada and Shigeo Shigeishi. Predeceased by her siblings Misaye (Jean) Hatanaka, Mitsuye (Betty) Murikami, Shigeru Akada and Shizue (Sally) Shigeishi. Also predeceased by her parents Sadajiro and Saki Akada. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
For 17 wonderful years Kay proudly owned and operated the popular Snack Bar at O’Connor Bowl West with her family. We would like to thank the nurses, doctors and caregivers, including Community Care Access Center and our family for their dedication and care during her time of need.
