KRIKORIAN, Sarah (nee Sajan)

KRIKORIAN, Sarah (nee Sajan) With love and fondest memories we announce the passing of Sarah Krikorian (nee Sajan).

Beloved wife and best friend for 52 years to Vaughn. Only daughter of Edith and John Sajan. Sister-in-law of Ed and Harriet. Loving aunt to their sons and families. Sarah will be missed by her brothers Bill (Toni) and Bob (Joyce) and their families. Predeceased by her brother John (Kindha) and niece Jordana (Krikorian) Page. A much loved aunt to Della Sajan (Dave). Sarah considered Judy DiPietro and her sons, Jim (Lisa), Kevin (Burgundi) and their families as her family. The Aceti family (Santi and Julianna) and their children, and Patricia and Adrian Upton were very important to her. Sarah had many pets over the years and each one brought her great joy. At last count Sarah was god mother or aunt to 41 people all of whom loved her very much and will miss her caring, cooking and sense of humour.

Sarah graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital as a Registered Nurse in 1966 and devoted her entire 52 year career to providing the best care to a wide variety of patients. For 15 years she was the I.V. Nurse on the pediatric unit before being promoted to manager. Following that Sarah was asked to take over many other positions – Investigation Units, Long Term Care and eventually a Supervisor at the West 5th Campus for 18 years. She was famous for her garden and Christmas parties and was an excellent hostess. Sarah and Vaughn loved their trips to Florida and were generous with their invitations to their home in Port Charlotte.

Vaughn is grateful for all the support he has received from family and friends and Dr. Kumar at the Juravinski Cancer Centre.
