ABERLE, Leslie Elizabeth Anne (nee NICHOLSON) January 9, 1942 – October 8, 2018 In Barrie, wife of the late Neil Aberle, mother of Margot (Dean) and Malcolm.
Leslie and Neil enjoyed a thriving pottery business in Bond Head in the late 90s and with their children, travelled, camped and explored the world. They enjoyed living in both Zambia and England for extended periods.
Leslie was an avid reader, an artist, with a deep appreciation of nature. Left to mourn her passing are siblings are Jane, Reg (Colleen) Nicholson and Judy (John) along with many nieces and nephews and good friends.
Predeceased by her parents Joan and Ken Nicholson and Frank in infancy.
Leslie volunteered with the Women’s Shelter in Barrie (and for the homeless).
She and Neil are now eternally travelling… Leslie will be missed by all.
