LUNN, John “Jack”

LUNN, John “Jack” On Thursday, April 4, 2019 in his 90th year our father, grandfather, uncle and brother fell asleep in death after a short but acute illness.

Father to Janet French (Rodney), Lynda Hanco (Mark) and Noreen Borne (Mark). Grandfather to Scott (Christina), Kaylee, Brent (Kaitlin), Dale (Nina), Todd, Jodi, Derek (Alicia) and great-grandfather to Austin. Predeceased by his dear first wife Angie Boccaccio and his loving second wife Ursula Rapp, his parents and siblings Jean McCallum and Harry Lunn. Jack will be sadly missed by Jean and Harry’s families’, extended family and friends. He brightened the lives of everyone near him with his latest joke or pun.

He had genuine interest in all but cared so much for those in the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses where he associated regularly as their brother in the faith. Jack was a devoted and kind hearted gentleman. He loved to travel with family, was fascinated with God’s creation and enjoyed long standing friendships. Truly, his most treasured relationship was the one he shared with his God Jehovah. His wholehearted faith in the Bible’s clear teaching of a resurrection filled him with hope, joy and peace.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service to take place on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Luina Station, 360 James Street North Hamilton.

Donations to the Watchtower, Bible and Tract Society are appreciated by the family.
