DRENNAN, Margaret Peacefully passed away at the Erin Meadows Retirement Home, Mississauga, on Sunday, September 16, 2018 after a prolonged battle with dementia.
She was the beloved wife of the late Carlyle (Caddy) and mother of Russ, Frances, Rick and Ron and loving grandmother “Mom Mom” to Jason and Kari, Jodi, Julie, Jamie, Brett, Graham and Sophie. Mom Mom was great-grandmother of Riley, Emily, Jackson, Christian, James, Carter, Evan, T. J., Ciara and Bradan. Margaret was born in Toronto and lived her early life on Manning Avenue with parents George and Frances Stephens. She was the loving sister of Danny, George, Ken, Anne and David. Margaret was sister-in-law to Clarence (Cook) Ottalean, Morrie, Bill, Jim (Slim), John (Jack) and Ken Drennan, and Effie, Margaret and Mary Stephen, Ambrose (Lucky) Lucas and Carol Stephens.
Her mother is buried in Phelpston and her extended family lives in Elmvale. We will miss her sweet disposition, her kindness to others and her sense of humour. A special thank you to the staff at Erin Mills for their great care and compassion during her long illness.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW), on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment Springcreek Cemetery.
