PORTER, MARGARET IRIS February 26, 1936 – October 20, 2018 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Margaret Iris Porter on Saturday, October 20th, 2018.
Margaret was the beloved aunt of Joseph Pitmada and Brooke McLeod, the great-aunt of Gioia, Giulius, and Morgan; she was a loving friend and a source of inspiration in her faith in Christ to many at St. Paul’s Bloor Street. Our heartfelt thanks go to Dr. Taupin, Dr. Bennett, and the Palliative Care Team at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Foundation (designated to palliative care) or to the Canadian Cancer Society (designated to pancreatic cancer research).
The funeral for Margaret will take place in St. Paul’s Bloor Street Church, 227 Bloor Street East, Toronto on Wednesday, October 31st, at 11:00 a.m. Condolences, photographs and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
