McDONALD, Mary Elizabeth Vivienne On October 7, 2018, Mary ‘Pookie’ Elizabeth Vivienne McDonald passed away after a long struggle with Huntington’s disease.
Born on January 11, 1952 and raised in Oakville, Ontario, she was a gentle soul who touched many with her warmth, generous spirit and wry sense of humour. She leaves behind her brothers, John (Joanne) and Richard (Leslie) as well as her longtime childhood friend Patricia McDougall.
She was predeceased by her mother Vivienne McDonald (nee Denison) and her father Ross. A special thanks to the wonderful staff at Vermont Square Long-Term Care Home and to her dear personal support companions Delva and Nancy.

Visitation will be on October 25th, 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W., Toronto. Funeral services will be held on October 26th at 2:00 p.m. at Saint Stephen-in-the-field, 103 Bellevue Ave., Toronto. Interment on October 27th at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Cemetery on the Humber, Clouston Ave., North York.
