MONTANI, Anna Mary “Mermy” (nee Merlino)Mermy passed away peacefully on March 18th at 91 years of age. She now joins her husband Porky (George). Porky and Mermy are together again after 36 years. Heaven will never be the same.

Predeceased by her sister Rose Marino and brothers Tony and Butchy Merlino. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Josie Caravaggio and greatly missed by her children: Pat (Brenda), Pooch (Richard), Angela (Fred), George (Karyn), and Gino (Nancy). Known as Nona to grandchildren Angie, Jaime, Jessica, Sydney, Alycia, Ali, Kate, Austin, Gina, Lorna and great-grand-children Lexi, Charlotte, and Luke. Nona will live on in their memories of homemade pasta, meatballs, bread, cinnabuns, competitive euchre games, ukulele birthday greetings, and life advice. Aunty Mermy will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., in Hamilton on Sunday, March 24th from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. with Prayers at 3 p.m. Funeral mass will take place at Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, 50 Brucedale Ave. E., at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Holy Souls Mausoleum, 600 Spring Gardens Rd. in Burlington.
