PAUL NICHOLAS MACINA

PAUL NICHOLAS MACINA

MACINA, PAUL NICHOLAS Sadly, our beloved Paul “Paolo” passed away unexpectedly on May 22, 2018 at the age of 53. Cherished husband of Marcy. Devoted father to Danielle, Elisa, Claudia, Nicolas and his furry son Orio.

He will be greatly missed by his sister Diane, extended family: Nonna Maria, Nadia (Angelo), Joanne, Alexander, Jessica and friends. He is now joined with his parents Don and Ann. Paul was born November 28, 1964 in Toronto but preferred to spend all of his spare time at his Huntsville “casa”. Paul lived his short life fully. He loved his family above all else. He was a true family man – in every sense. He proudly fulfilled his lifelong dream of being a City of Toronto Fire Fighter for 30 years. He recently retired April 30, 2018 and was looking forward to his well-deserved retirement.

He enjoyed playing hockey (and rumor has it – he was pretty good). He even built the “Macina Ice Gardens” permanently in Huntsville. He loved the outdoors – canoeing, hiking, camping, archery, fishing, tobogganing and especially family ice time. He was a “carpenter extraordinaire”. He previously had his own deck and fence company early on in his career.

His contagious laugh will be missed by all. However, his singing in the car will not be!
