RAYNER, Joyce MacEwan (nee Husband)Peacefully on October 18, 2018 at 89 years.
Joyce moved from Montreal to Hamilton at 15 years old (pictured at 18) and graduated from Westdale then Toronto General Hospital School of Nursing.
Predeceased by her husband Bill (73 years), brother Ross (87 years), son David (6 years) and twin daughters Sharon (4 years) and Shirley (10 years). Survived by her brother Clint (Jan), son Vert (Denise), daughter Janet (Paul), grandchildren Tessa, Jordan, Spike, Colin, great-grandchild Bodhi and sisters-in-law Jan Husband, Jean Husband and Deshi Rayner.
Vert and Janet wish to thank her extended family support team – Denise, Clint, Jan, Jean, Lloyd, Gail, Les Souter and Jeannie Lowry. She will be remembered as someone who endured great tragedy without letting it intrude on her optimism, pleasant disposition or unconditional love for pretty much everyone.
