RICHARD WAYNE BOOTH

RICHARD WAYNE BOOTH

BOOTH, RICHARD WAYNE It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Wayne Booth of Thornhill, Ontario announces his sudden passing at the age of 74. Born in Saskatoon, SK, Rick was the son of the late Arthur and Mary (MacIsaac) Booth. As the son of a RCAF Officer, Rick lived in many places across Canada. Upon graduating from the University of Alberta, with a degree in Physical Education, he continued to travel and live overseas until finally settling in the Toronto area.

With a keen interest in the health sciences, Rick took great pride in the countless lives he touched and friendships made, with over 30 years in medical sales. He was an avid golfer and a proud long time member of The Thornhill Club. He loved spending time with his family, especially when he was able to visit with his children and grandchildren.

Rick will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Sara Campbell (Thomas) of Wellington, Nova Scotia and Jennifer Currie (Stephen) of Kentville, Nova Scotia; his grandchildren Bennett, Everleigh, Zoe, Sullivan, and Paige; his brother Gary Booth (Joanne) of Lakefield, Ontario; his nieces and nephew Tamara Rumsey (Douglas), Lianne Warne (Mark), and Colin Booth (Caroline) of Ontario; and his great-nephews and great-niece Jacob, William, and Chloe. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to KidSport or Thrombosis Canada.
