McCORKELL, RONALD Passed away peacefully at Sunrise of Burlington on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the age of 81. Predeceased by parents Margaret (nee Egan) and Joseph McCorkell. Ron was also predeceased by his sister Verna Barrette (late Gordon) and his nephews: Michael Barrette and Edward “Ted” Barrette.
Ron will be dearly missed by his niece Joy Barrette as well as his great-nieces and nephew: Elizabeth Dykstra (Nathan), Jennifer Barrette (Mike) and Ron Barrette (Crystal). He will be fondly remembered by friends and colleagues. Ron was a longtime employee of Bell Canada.
Special thank you to the doctors, nurses and support staff at Sunrise of Burlington for their kindness and compassion. As per Ron’s wishes, Private Cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ron to the Alzheimer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
