BORTOLUSSI, Rose Carmela (nee PANTALEO) 1930 – 2018 As she lived, with quiet grace and dignity, so our dear mother passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Mom was born in Toronto on July 15, 1930 to the late Leonard (1937) Pantaleo and Catherine Irene (nee Lobracio) (1982). She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter Bortolussi (2005). She was a beautiful soul who loved everyone and who was loved in return.
Throughout her health battles she continued to provide strength to those around her, always with a smile, all the time caring for those who cared for her. Mom will be dearly missed by those she treasured and leaves behind: her daughters, Linda (Bill Moynagh), Cathy (Mark Calligaro) and Yvonne (Peter Masik); her grandchildren, Rosemary (Mathew Baldassini), Maria (Darryl Henn) and Anthony (Cheryl) Calligaro; and her great-grandchildren, Marcello and Maurizio Baldassini, Lucas and Allison Henn and Mason, Jackson and Savannah Calligaro. Mom, we are eternally grateful for the unwavering love and support you gave us all.
We would like to thank the generous, loving and compassionate care given to her at Markham Stouffville Hospital by Dr. Henry Solow, the nursing staff at the MSH Chemo Clinic and the MSH nursing and support staff at 2C Unit. Mom, you will be deeply and sorrowfully missed.

Friends and family will be received at the DIXON – GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street North (Markham Road), Markham, on Friday, March 2nd from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 3rd at 11 a.m. at St. Mark’s Church followed by the burial at Christ the King Cemetery.
