SCOTT, John W. It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle and best friend, John W. Scott. Poppa John. John passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 13, 2019, in his 78th year.
Son of Thelma (Pettigrew) and John Scott, Cherished husband of Dianne, cherished father of Todd Scott (Michelle Inglis), Tim Scott (Samantha Scott), Jonas Scott (Lisa Rudd-Scott). Extended father of Amy Oosterlinck, Tammy Skuse, Stephen Skuse Jr. (Anne Teeninga-Skuse). Loving brother of Bruce (Lillian), Sandie Adelson (Morton). Loving papa of Travis Scott, Ty Scott, Jonas, Janessa, Kaitlyn, Athana Oosterlinck, Jeffery Oosterlinck and Evan Wheeler. Uncle to Keith Scott (Pauline), Karen Scott-Davidson (Rob), Kevin Scott (Melanie). John will be profoundly missed by all of his family members and countless friends. John was a proud member of the HSR for more than 34 years. He enjoyed the get togethers at the Egg & I with the boys.

The visitation will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton (between Upper Gage and Upper Ottawa), on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 p.m. for those who wish to attend.
