Sister Mary (ROSA) MARTIN PITTI

MARTIN (ROSA) PITTI, Sister Mary Missionary Sister of the Precious Blood, died peacefully surrounded by her fellow sisters at Mariann Nursing Home, Richmond Hill, on May 31, 2018 in her 85th year.

She was the daughter of the late Victor Quiel and Paula Pitti. She will be sadly missed by her family in Panama, USA and Canada, by her fellow sisters and many friends. Sister Mary Martin’s mission took her to Spain (1964-1973).

Sister worked quietly and lovingly for the elderly and sick both at the former St. Bernard’s Rehab Hospital and at Mariann Nursing Home in Richmond Hill. Special thanks to Dr. Ko, Dr. Kahansky, Nurse Denise and all the staff at Mariann Home and St. Bernard’s Residence. God bless you all. Visitation at St. Bernard’s Convent, 685 Finch Avenue West, Friday, June 8th, 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. including Mass at 6:30 p.m.

The Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 9th at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in support of the work of the Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood or for the Re-Development Building Fund of Mariann Nursing Home.
