HORVAT, STEFAN March 19, 1932 – October 2, 2018 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Stefan passed away peacefully at the age of 86 after a long illness, surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Marija, his daughter Slavica (Stefan Kotnjek) and grandchildren Kristopher and Sonia. He was predeceased by his parents Ivan and Agatha Horvat, brothers Jozef, Matjaz and Ivan. Sisters Verona, Maria and Rozina all of Slovenia. He is survived by sister Agatha also of Slovenia.
The family will receive friends at Catholic Cremation Services (6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 5th. A Funeral Service within the funeral home Chapel on Saturday, October 6th at 11 a.m. The Final Rite of Committal and interment will take place at Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga).
