STOCKTON, John Henry After suffering a long illness, John passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord at Victoria Gardens Long Term Care in Hamilton, on Thursday, March 21, 2019 in his 84th year.
Beloved husband and best friend of Lily for 33 years. Loving father of Lori Stockton (Barb), Jeff Stockton (Christeen). Dear sister of Patricia LePrieur and the late Lloyd (Carol). Predeceased by his parents, John and Annie Stockton.
John devoted 37 years to Stelco before he retired to enjoy his favourite pastimes; fishing, hockey and spending time with his grandchildren. His integrity, talent, compassion and family traditions leave us rich with many memories of his extraordinary life.
Special thanks to Dr. Steven Cusimano, Maria Ambroszkiewicz and the staff at VG for their care and compassion.
As per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
