SWANSON, Janet Christeen (nee Hawkes) Janet passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital on March 20, 2019 at the age of 99.
Her happiest days were spent with her bridge club, the West Plains United Church Women’s group, and her family. She loved knitting afghans and baking – her date squares and butter tarts will certainly go down in family history!
Janet was predeceased by her sister Betty Biehler, husband George, son Bruce, and niece Nancy Hall. She is survived by her children (John and Louise), daughter-in-law (Lynne), grandchildren (Kevin, Christine, and Rory), and niece (Janice).
Cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice is appreciated.
