WIRTH, Andrew Joseph Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather at the age of 77.
Andy leaves behind his wife Pat of 54 years, and his children Terri (Scott), Tracy (Chad), and Andrea (Mark). Brother to Joseph (deceased), Mary, and Anne (Bruce). Adored and loving Papa to Kaylin, Drew, Lucas, Cole, Evan, Andy, and Alex. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Andy spread his love with many people through church, Knights of Columbus, Lions Club, racing, baseball, hockey, and to everyone anywhere he went.
Special thanks to the amazing palliative care team at McNally House Hospice in Grimsby.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to McNally House Hospice in Grimsby, or St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Smithville.
Visitation will take place at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Monday, October 22, from 2-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8 p.m. Mass with Christian Burial at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 166 West Street, Smithville on Tuesday, October 23, at 11 a.m. with interment at the Church’s adjoining Cemetery. merritt-fh.com
