DiNUNZIO, Agostino Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Saturday, August 13 2016, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Rosalia (nee D’Alimonte) of 58 years. Loving father of Maria Grazia Mazzuca (Mario), Luisa Posteraro (Mimmo), Rita Cioffi (John), Danny (Teresa), the late Franca, and Frank (Davy Fruchard). Cherished nonno of Eugene (Traci), Michael (Lavinia), Daniel (Stacie), Giuliano, Michael, Deanna, Alexandra, Thomas, Mark, Joshua and Laura. Proud great-nonno of Mia, Gabriella, Sophia, Sebastian, Aria and Adriano. Loving son of the late Francesco and the late Maria Donata nee Sant’Angelo, and brother of the late Carmine (the late Angela), Antonio (the late Luisa), Giuseppe (Angela), Anna Palumbo (Luciano), Lucia DiCarlo (the late Giovanni), Angela DiGiovanni (the late Giuseppe), and Giovina DiNardo (Agostino). Much loved son-in-law of the late Donato and the late Graziella nee D’Angelo and Giovina nee DiPietrantonio, and brother-in-law of the late Antonio (Maria), Anna Bargoni (the late Donato), Maria D’Angelo (Antonio), Graziella DiMatteo (the late Ugo), and Camillo (Anna). He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends throughout Canada, Belgium, the United States and his native Italy. Agostino was a long-time employee of Stelco. Visitation at SMITH’S Funeral Home, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) Stoney Creek (905-664-4222) on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Prayer vigil will be on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway #8, Stoney Creek on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 10 a.m. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
