HELEN MARY CACHIA September 20, 1940, Qormi, Malta – July 4, 2016, Toronto, Canada God embraced our beloved mother into His eternal presence on July 4, 2016. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Josephine Xuereb and her husband Emanuel. Dearly missed by her children Carmen, Paul (Terri-Lynne) and George. Proud Nanna to Nicholas (Alison), Helena (Daniel), Noelle, Elyse, Alex (Vanessa), Vanessa and Spencer. Thrilled Buznanna to Aria and Luca. Loved sister of George, Reno, Dr. Charles and their families and Tony. Remembered by family and friends, in Canada, the United States, Malta, England and Australia. Mom was a beautiful woman, supportive of all. Her life was guided by love, faith, hope and charity. A pillar of strength, a treasure of wisdom, blessed with unconditional love for all. A guiding light, pure of heart and selfless, she will be missed by those who knew her and loved her. Visitations will take place at Lynett Funeral Home (3299 Dundas St. W.) on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 9:15 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church (3224 Dundas St. W., Toronto). Interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Reception to follow at St. Paul the Apostle Church Hall.
