BATCHELOR, James Bryson It is with broken hearts that his family announces the passing of this great man at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton on August 17, 2017, in his 78th year. Jim retired 13 years ago after a long career from Ford Canada. He leaves behind his wife and soulmate Margaret Day, son James Batchelor, daughter Robin McLarty and daughter-in-law Tina Batchelor. He will forever be missed by his grandsons James Batchelor (Sabrina), Bryson Batchelor, Jack McLarty (Jenna) and granddaughter Sasha Dunseith (Dustin) and by his 2 greatest joys his great-granddaughters Sawyer and Autumn. Predeceased by his mother Margaret Sankown and brother Dave Batchelor (Gail). Jim also leaves behind his sisters-in-law Dorothy English (Dave), Helen Brown (Ted), brother in-law Jim Day (Jean) and cousins Susie Tike (Bob) and Donna Wood (Dennis). Jim will be truly missed by all that knew the great man he was. He found great joy in helping his neighbours as they helped him. They were his neighbourhood family (Mike, Linda, Barb, Alice, Sylvia) IT’S TIME TO REST NOW Celebration of Life to take place at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home on Friday, September 22, 2017 between 5 and 8 p.m. Feel free to wear a golf shirt, dad would love it.
