Janina CZARNECKI
Died peacefully on March 28, 2017, with family by her side. Born in Poland in 1930, she made Canada her home after marrying Antony in 1961. Predeceased by her husband Antony. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Dorothy (Paul) of Oakville and Mississauga; her sisters Helena Walas of Poland, and Danuta (John) Makowski of Guelph; niece Agnes of Toronto. She will be remembered for her smile in the face of adversity, her independent spirit and creativity. Much gratitude to the Heart Function Clinic and the Oakville Hospital for their years of care and support. Visitation to take place on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Road W., Oakville, ON, 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville, ON, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society , will be greatly appreciated.
