ARMOUR, Mary Alice (Molly) Peacefully on February 15, 2017 in her 87th year, with family at her side. Loving mother of Paul, Christine (Bill Tait), Donna (John Chiovitti), Greg and Patrick (Diane Silver). Much loved Grandma Molly to Steve (Rebecca), Katie, Nicole (Dan Giordano) and Brendan, and ‘GG’ to Aila and Ty. Survived by younger brother, Arthur Stewart (Helen) of Glasgow, Scotland. Special aunt to her many nieces and nephews of the Stewart clan across the pond. Molly was a long time member of St. Eugene’s Parish and over 50 years with the parish CWL. Through her voluntarism in the community, at St. Joseph’s Villa, the Good Shepherd and within her parish showed her strong commitment to faith and her generous sprit towards others. Despite suffering a stroke in 2012, Molly’s positive outlook and sense of humour persisted. She was always grateful for her many friends who remained in touch over the years. Visitation at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. East (at Kenilworth) Hamilton, on Friday, February 17th, from 2-4 p.m. (prayer vigil at 3:30) and again from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Eugene’s Church (Parkdale and Queenston) on Saturday, February 18th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s Villa and Orchard Terrace Retirement Home in Winona.
