RUSICH, Mary Peacefully at the Heritage Green Nursing Home on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of George Rusich. Much loved mother of Bob (Nada), Tom (Milena), Peter (Lilly), predeceased by daughter Milena (Vlado) Balac. Cherished grandmother of Gabriella (Sasha), Nikola, George (Heather), Marina (Roumen), John (Melissa), Peter Jr. (Sanela), Chrissy (Alex), Sonja, Savo and great-grandchildren Nikola, Stefan, Kalina, Milen, Jaxon and Arileus. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Constantina Bekiaris. Dear aunt to Gojko (Jelica), Kuzman (Martha), Dragan (Jovanka) Rusic, Mika (Nikola) Dragicevic. Will be remembered by her extended family at home and abroad. A special thank you to the staff and residents at Heritage Green Nursing Home for their care and companionship during Mary’s stay. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North (905) 544-1147 on Wednesday, August 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 153 Nash Road on Thursday, August 24th at 10 a.m. Interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens to follow.
