Mildred Catherine DEAN
(nee HOGGARD)
July 2, 1918 – February 16, 2017
Mildred passed peacefully and gently on February 16, 2017 at the age of 98. Her late husband and love of her life, Tom Dean, was surely there to greet her lovingly as she took leave of this lifetime.
Born into a devoted Salvation Army family in England, Mildred’s life began in service to God and for 98 years her faith and her enduring sense of gratitude for life never wavered. She was kind, gracious, loving, thoughtful, loyal and always positive.
Mildred lived a wonderfully long, healthy and full life and her legacy is magnificent! She is survived by her two sons, Geoff and Malcolm Dean; she will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Andrea Dean, Daleth (Gordon) Bach, Tzaddi Gordon and Christopher Dean; and her indomitable spirit lives on in her great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jaden and Makerra Bach; Natalie and Courtney Anglin. She will be fondly remembered and forever loved by her family and friends.

A service in celebration of Mildred’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2nd at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church, 1585 Yonge St.
