Larry SHORT
SHORT, Larry Passed away with family by his side. After a long courageous battle in his 64th year. Loving husband to Maria. Devoted father to Melissa and David. Cherished Papa to Danny and Nathan. Brother to Gary, Johnny (Laura), Laura (Sandy), Dawn, Jim, Joe. Predeceased by his parents Agnes and Patrick McManamy, his father Jim Short and his brothers Terry and Ron. Larry will be missed by many family, friends, his Blues Ball Hockey team and his second family from Baltimore, Maryland and Indiana. As a crane operator for over 40 years with Ninco Construction, Venetor Crane, United Rentals and BW Haggart. He has met and made many friends across Ontario. Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of life taking place on Sunday, August 28th at his home address 132 Macauley Street E. between the hours of 2-6 in Hamilton. Special thanks to Paul Wainwright for all his support over the last two years and Fred Bullock for all his encouraging words and thoughts through final stages of Larry’s battle. Many thanks to all the staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and Dr. Goffin and his staff. Also thanks to the VON staff for their round the clock care. Special thanks to Leslie, Ester, Jen, Kendra, Rhonda, Lori. You made sure he was well taken care of and we are forever grateful.
