With deep sadness, our family announces the passing of Alex on Saturday, June 18 2016. Loving husband and best friend to Lorraine for over 63 years. Cherished dad to Don (Terri) and Glenn (Laurie). Survived by his siblings Marian Kemp and Jay (Marilyn) Wallace. Predeceased by his grandson Mark, brother Frank and sister Margaret MacFarlane. Alex will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Millie Wallace and by his sister-in- law and brother-in-law Susan and Gilles Page. Also remembering Alex are his many nieces and nephews and friends. Alex was a retired employee of Camco for over 36 years. He had a wonderful sense of humour and was always the life of the party at many family functions. He enjoyed playing cards and billiards, but his real joy was travelling all over the world with his wife Lorraine. A very special thanks to the attentive staff of Shalom Village for their compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the M.A. Clark & Sons Funeral Home, 567 Upper Wellington St., Hamilton on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. For those who wish, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated .
