GOODING, Stephen Roy It is with heavy hearts the family of Stephen announces his sudden passing at home on September 1, 2017 at the age of 65. Best friend and soul mate of Margaret (nee Johnston) for the last 45 years. Devoted dad of Kathryn (Paul), Elizabeth (Jay) and Laura (Luke). Grandfather of Violet, Brady, Eric, Amy and Summer. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Betty Gooding and in-laws Margaret and James Johnston. Brother of Lynn (predeceased Jim) and Brian (Robin). Brother-in-law to Maureen. Stephen will be missed by his extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234), on Thursday, September 7th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 8th at 11:00 a.m. at CHRIST MEMORIAL ANGLICAN CHURCH, 81 Hillcroft Street, Oshawa.
