Passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at home with family by his side at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Sylvia (nee Debono). Loving father of Josephine Ortis (Zammit) and Paul Zammit (Uli Havermann). Cherished grandfather of Diana (Maxi), Rebecca, Justin (Melanie), Andrew (Yesenia) and great-grandfather of Marcus, Quinn, Alex and Kai. Survived by his sister Kitty and many nieces and nephews in both Canada and Malta. Emanuel will be missed by his extended family and numerous friends. Family and friends may gather at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre – 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (north of Steeles Avenue), 905-456-8190, on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Airways Parish Church, 7411 Darcel Avenue, Mississauga, ON, at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016. Interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Mississauga. He was loved in life and will not be forgotten in death. Donations in Emanuel’s memory may be made to Princess Margaret Foundation.
