EMILY MULHOLLAND (nee ASHWORTH) Peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on July 9, 2016 in her 95th year. Adored wife of the late Dr. Frederick D. Mulholland D.D.S. (1988). Dear mother of daughter Martha Ann Gardhouse, son Jonathan D. Mulholland and son-in-law Edward Gardhouse. Loving grandmother of Rebecca (Becky) Krystal Ann Gardhouse. Predeceased by her two loving brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank (Mamie) and Tom (Norma). Emily was a Life Member of Ontario Chapter 227 and Past Matron of Markham Chapter 155 of the Order of the Eastern Star; member of Melville United Church and United Church Women for many years. Friends will be received at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. North (Markham Rd.), Markham, on Friday, July 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Private family interment will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. As per Emily’s request, “Flowers are for the living”. Surprise a shut-in, on her behalf.
