Robert RIVET
RIVET, Robert 1932 – 2016 On August 25th, at The Carpenter Hospice in Burlington, Robert Rivet passed away at the age of 84. He was the beloved husband of Yolande Rivet (nee Barbeau) and son of the late Armand Rivet and the late Lucienne Rivet (nee Lamarche). In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his three children Ronald (Claudia), France (Serge) and Sylvain (Judith), his grandchildren Rachel, Arianne, Renaud, Brittany and Emily, his siblings Lyse Bessette (Robert) and Yves Jourdenais (Lucie) as well as brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews and nieces. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington on Thursday, September 1, 2016 between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. A religious service will follow at 1 p.m. Private inurnment. A commemorative mass will also take place in Montreal at a later date.
