ROSE EDNA BROOKS HENDERSON (nee FORMAN) September 4, 1919 – September 17, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and graceful passing of Rose. Loving mother to Barbara Copp, Brenda Sinton (Ted) and Bonnie Brooks and wonderful grandmother to Kristin Kidd (Robert), Rebecca Leach (Jason) and David Copp. She will be fondly remembered by her four great-grandchildren Thomas, Jonathan, Shannon and Jackson. Rose was predeceased by loving husbands Gordon E. Brooks and Allen W. Henderson. Rose was one of ten children of Walter and Edna Forman, who all annually gathered their families together to celebrate reunions for decades. Rose was a vibrant spirit, with a zest for living every day. She will always be remembered for her grace and dignity, her unique wit, her passion for politics, her personal style, her love of art and painting with her palette and brushes still in hand this past summer. Her 97th birthday was recently celebrated over three fun-filled days with all of her loved ones, at her favourite place, Lake Simcoe. The family will honour her memory in a celebration of her life at a later date
