VALVASORI, Michael Scott On Friday, January 20, 2017, at the age of 36, Michael left us peacefully and with dignity, surrounded by the love of his family. Michael was the beloved son of Michael and Miriam Valvasori, loving brother of Lisa (Andre Gaudet), Gary, Tony, Lynn and David Valvasori. Proud uncle of Anthony and Rachel Trabucco, Taylor and Jessie Valvasori, Jodi Correia, Baylie Langelier, Zachary, Aiden and Noah Kumaczow, and Krista, David and Aaryn Valvasori. Remembered with love by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael has made his mark on this world and we are all better people for knowing and loving him. Michael chose to leave this world with dignity through Bill C-14, medical assistance in dying, citing his grievous and irremediable disability. Special thank you to the doctors and nurses who cared for Michael in his last moments. They are extraordinary people. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at a later date at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Family will receive friends at L.G. Wallace Funeral Home, 151 Ottawa St. N., Hamilton on Saturday, January 28th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kiwanis Club of Hamilton East Inc.
