DOROTHEA EISENSTAT (nee PETERSON) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothea in her 91st year on March 30, 2017 at Southlake Regional Hospital, Newmarket, Ontario. Loving wife of the late Nathan Eisenstat. Dear sister of Eveline Porter, sister-in-law of Georgia Peterson and Robert Bruce Porter. Loving aunt and great-aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Adored companion of her dog Pepper. Predeceased by her parents Eveline and John Peterson, her sister Cassandra, her brothers Peter (Kathleen), George (Audrey) and John. Predeceased by her nephew Grant and niece Sandra. The family would like to thank Dr. David Rowe and the Palliative Care Team at Southlake for their kind and compassionate care. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, on Monday, April 3rd from 10 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery.
